It's been a wild week for registrations. Some of the country's biggest fall regionals — Premier Challenge (NY), BladeRunner (CA), and 2nd BBFC Duel in the Desert (NV) — all sold out or hit wait-list this week. If your fencer missed the window, don't panic: the calendar is deep, and there's already a fresh crop of tournaments open for registration right now, months before they'll fill up.
Here's what's tightening, and where the next opportunities are.

Didn't get into the events above, or missed an earlier deadline? Two new tournaments just came online and are wide open — this is the moment to grab a spot before they fill the way everything above did.

The pattern this fall: cadet and junior epee/foil/saber fields go first, youth fields follow a few weeks later, and adult/veteran fields tend to have the most breathing room. If your fencer had a rough go at an early-season tournament or got shut out of a full field, the December events above are a clean second chance — and registering the week they open, rather than the week before they close, is the difference between a confirmed spot and a wait-list.
