Region 4 Tournament Watch: AFM Super Regional Is Filling Fast — Don't Wait for the Deadline

Region 4 is the busiest region in the country right now, and the headline is AFM Super Regional RYC/RJCC/ROC in Santa Clara — its deadline isn't until September 30, but two-thirds of its 35 events are already full. On the national side, October NAC is already sold out and November NAC is close behind at 89% full. If your fencer wants a spot in AFM Super Regional, the advice this week is simple: don't wait for the deadline, register now.

Second chances: register early before it fills like the ones above
RYC/RJC of the Rockies (Denver, CO, Nov 13) is open for registration now (closes Nov 1) and has plenty of room — it's a fresh listing that hasn't been widely seen yet, so this is a great one to grab early. Nick Itkin Cup SYC & Vet ROC (Palm Springs, CA, Dec 11, closes Nov 16) is also open, though one youth field is already 85% full — worth acting on soon rather than in November.
Region 4 sells out faster and more completely than anywhere else we track — AFM Super Regional shows fields can fill three weeks before the official deadline. If your fencer had a disappointing result or missed a cutoff earlier this season, Denver in November and Palm Springs in December are both open right now with room to spare — but based on this region's pattern, that won't last long.
