Region 6 Tournament Watch: Kiefer Meinhardt Passed 1,300 Fencers, Nashville Has Its First Full Event, and Capitol Clash Still Has Room
Wednesday, October 14, 2026 · Bout-Buddy Editorial
Region 6 has 13 tournaments with 39 events at 80% or higher, and 14 of them full, up from 12 a week ago. Kiefer Meinhardt Cup SYC/RJCC/Y8 in Glen Allen, VA (Nov 14–15) now has 1,307 fencers entered, up from 1,135. USA Fencing hasn't published caps for it, so we can't say how close any field is to full. Its regular deadline is November 1.
Nashville Challenge RYC/RJCC in Murfreesboro, TN (Oct 17–18) has its first full event, Youth 10 Men's Saber, and its late registration, at USA Fencing's late fee, ends tomorrow, October 15.
