Region 4 Tournament Watch: BBFC Las Vegas Has 16 Full Events and a Later Deadline, and Elite Cup's Y14 Men's Epee Is Down to Three Spots

Region 4 has 11 tournaments with 108 events at 80% or higher, and 82 of them full, up from 78 a week ago. 3rd Annual BBFC RYC and Y8 in Las Vegas (Nov 7–8) added four full events this week, for 16. Its regular deadline also moved: last week it was October 15, and USA Fencing now shows October 24.
AFM Super Regional in Santa Clara is past its regular deadline, with 39 of 44 tracked events full. In San Diego, Elite Cup RYC/RJCC (Jan 16–17) passed 1,250 fencers, and Youth 14 Men's Epee has 3 spots left with the deadline still in December.

BBFC has 16 full events more than two weeks before its deadline, Nick Itkin has 10 full with the deadline in mid-November, and Elite Cup's top youth epee field is three spots from a wait-list in October for a January tournament. The later BBFC deadline doesn't buy time in the fields that are already full. If your fencer is going to any of these, register now. Rafanelli is the place with real room for spring.
